Historic inauguration at Douland with Shri Ainthu Sahoo, Chairman of Orissa Forest Corporation Ltd. as chief guest. Most Rev. Archbishop Raphael Cheenath S.V.D. blessed the school and dispensary.

Recognizing the urgent need to address female illiteracy in the village, the school was transformed into St. Joseph's Balika Bidyalaya, dedicating our mission to girls' education and empowerment.
